Low-Carb Meat Loaf With Tomato Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the ground beef, almond flour, egg, onion, bell pepper, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan, using a spatula to spread it evenly.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Let the meatloaf cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
